This course features the plays A View from the Bridge by Arthur Miller and Equus by Peter Shaffer, which participants read aloud and discuss. The focus is on how one character’s obsession in each play influences those around him. We also explore other social and emotional aspects of these works. No acting experience is necessary. We regularly change parts and encourage group discussion.
Rick Leighton has been an avid theatregoer since he was 13. As an educator, he taught theatre skills to middle school students and has used visual and performing arts in his teaching with children and adults for 50 years.
