This course explores the contributions of Islamic scholars and writers across a range of fields. Participants examine the role of Islamic societies in preserving and transmitting classical scholarship, as well as the influence of Islamic thought and culture on the development of Western civilization and world history. 

Daniel Wegener is a retired educator and educational administrator. He has been an avid student of world history and comparative religion throughout his professional life and world travels.
