« back to classes page

Come for a discussion of how the NFL rose from its very shaky beginnings a little over 100 years ago to become, by far, the most popular spectator sport in the U.S. We also speculate on why it is so popular in the U.S. but not elsewhere in the world.

Ed Temple is a career attorney and a lifetime Patriots fan. He practiced law in the NYC metropolitan area for more than 35 years. He has previously taught OLLI courses on the pioneers of film music and the play “Our Town.”
