The UNCW College of Health and Human Services (CHHS) was established to make a positive impact on the health and quality of life of residents in the state of North Carolina and beyond. The goal of the CHHS is to help individuals, families and communities live healthier, more prosperous and empowered lives.

To enhance the health and quality of life of our community,
the Center for Workforce Development facilitates the exploration, preparation and development of the health and human services workforce.
We aim to ignite and fuel passion for the health and human services fields and engage with our community to form strong academic-community partnerships to develop our workforce and providing opportunities for lifelong learning.
