This course explores the effects of and responses to climate change in Brazil, Canada, Costa Rica, Iceland and Antarctica. We also consider causes, effects and solutions here in the Carolinas. This course is based on science, but you don’t need to be a scientist to learn and enjoy.
Warren Darrell is a volunteer with the Coast Guard Auxiliary, the Ecologic Development Fund, Earthwatch, the North Carolina Coastal Federation, a board member of Friends of the Coastal Reserve, and a registered professional engineer with master’s degrees in environmental engineering and environmental science.
