This class covers the basics of simple communication in Portuguese to help visitors’ interactions with locals. We also discuss cultural tips and strategies on how to navigate your travel experience, maximizing your enjoyment when visiting a Portuguese-speaking country.  

Regina Felix is a professor of Portuguese and Brazilian studies in UNCW’s Department of World Languages and Cultures. Her teaching and research interests cover the Portuguese language and decolonial and women’s studies in Brazilian film and literature.
