ID : 2626

« back to classes page

From the signing of the Declaration of Independence through today, American government, policy and law have been shaped and reshaped by politics. In an effort to better understand current events, we explore how the federal courts, while constantly evolving, have always been institutions steering through the currents of national politics.

A lawyer and longtime senior career official at the U.S. Department of Justice, Grace Mastalli served as deputy assistant attorney general and worked across five administrations (Presidents Reagan through Obama). Mastalli now leads a nonprofit organization based in Wilmington.
