How to Survive the Culture Wars

ID : 2615

« back to classes page

After reviewing the origin and history of “culture wars” we look at five big issues: religion and family values; alt-right and alt-left; immigration; climate change; and gender identity. We separate the propaganda from legitimate concerns and dedicate plenty of time to the discussion of individual experiences and opinions.

Dan Wegener is a retired educator with degrees in anthropology, international education, and educational administration. He has been an activist advocating for social justice and educational opportunity in Arizona, Central America and at the United Nations.
