NHC Senior Resource Center’s Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP)

This presentation raises awareness about the local Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) based at the New Hanover County Senior Resource Center. The center currently engages 720+ active RSVP volunteers and works with 30+ community partners/programs in New Hanover County. There is currently a great need for volunteers especially with programs centered around food insecurity.  

Becky Doherty has a background in healthcare philanthropy and currently serves as the RSVP coordinator at the NHC Senior Resource Center. She enjoys getting to know new volunteers and works hard to match them with opportunities that align with their skills and passions.
