Empowering Veterans, Military Personnel and First Responders through Art

This presentation introduces the Veterans Creative Arts Program (VCAP), highlighting the creative talents of veterans, first responders and military personnel living in our community. We discuss what it can look like to support, empower and collaborate in a shared space and community environment. 

Cammeron Batanides is a teaching artist, children’s book author/illustrator, business owner, live painting performance and studio artist in addition to serving as president of the VCAP. Her art has been featured across the United States, in Jamaica and throughout Canada.
