This course provides strategies and builds skills central to self-compassion. Participants practice assessing and managing difficult situations and emotions with greater moment-to-moment awareness. They learn to apply self-compassion practices to respond to feelings of failure or inadequacy with self-kindness and to use the art of savoring and self-appreciation to overcome negative attention bias. The ultimate goal is to integrate core mindfulness and self-compassion skills into daily life. Enrollment is limited.
