This course features live music with symphony musicians, new and old compositions by the instructor, a class exercise creating a short piece and possibly an additional guest composer. The objective is to nurture a greater love of music in those who attend. Space is limited to 20 participants.
Larry Zimmerman has long engaged with music as a composer, pianist, and music director. His music has been performed by various institutions and groups, and he has mentored and worked with volunteer choirs, professional singers and musicians, chamber ensembles and orchestras.
