This course offers delectable morsels from great Latin American authors. The readings are short —so short that we discuss two per session.  All texts are made available through online links or email attachments.

Argentine Jorge Luis Borges’ “The South”

Sept. 15: Guatemalan Miguel Asturias’ “El Cadejo”; Ukrainian-born Brazilian Clarice Lispector’s “Marmosets”

Sept. 22: Uruguayan Juan Carlos Onetti’s “The Dog Will Have Its Day”; Argentine Julio Cortázar’s “Axolotl”
