The effects and solutions of anthropogenic global climate change include sea level rise, high tide flooding, coastal erosion, deoxygenation, acidification, ecosystem preservation, living shorelines, beach nourishment, infrastructure damage and adaptation, and offshore wind energy. We see how humans, land, ocean, and atmosphere interact by virtually visiting the Carolina coast, California, the Gulf Stream, Australia, Bali and the Caribbean. Finally, we learn how we can contribute to climate change solutions.

Warren Darrell is an active volunteer with the North Carolina Coastal Reserve, the Coast Guard Auxiliary, the Ecologic Development Fund, Earthwatch and the North Carolina Coastal Federation. He is a board member of Friends of the Coastal Reserve and travels the world studying climate change.
