« back to classes page

From the end of the Roman Empire to the height of the Renaissance, we see distinct art movements develop. The Byzantine, Romanesque and Gothic styles, over the course of 1000 years, present a lead-up to one of the most unprecedented moments in European history. Let's explore the gems of art and architecture that mark the journey of dark into light.

Kirah Van Sickle is a lifelong artist and visual storyteller with an academic foundation ranging from the traditional to contemporary. As an art educator, she works both locally and internationally, bringing rich insights to materials, painting fundamentals and art and cultural history.
