This course taps into the evocative essence and legacy of Edward Hopper's life and work. His mastery of light, composition and interior landscape is distinctly American, inviting introspection and connection to the poetics of space and place. 

Kirah Van Sickle is a lifelong artist and visual storyteller with an academic foundation ranging from the traditional to contemporary. As an art educator, she works both locally and internationally, bringing rich insights to materials, painting fundamentals and art and cultural history.
