ID : 2161
« back to classes page
The arrival of The Beatles in the
U.S. in 1964 precipitated a cultural
phenomenon known as the “British
Invasion” that would have a
profound effect on music, fashion,
film and TV. In our sessions we
explore this phenomenon and how
it would internationalize rock and
roll and influence the growing
counterculture in both the U.S. and
the UK. Along the way, we trace the
creativity of The Beatles, analyzing
the evolution of their music and why
those extraordinary songs have had
such an enduring legacy.
