« back to classes page

Explore the art of flash fiction — stories under 1,500 words that use brevity to powerful effect. This class draws on craft excerpts, key techniques, and discussion of published stories to examine flash fiction both as its own genre and as a tool for understanding longer fiction.

Leigh Kresge is a writer and interdisciplinary artist with work appearing in The New York Times, Assay, 805 Lit + Art and mixed-media events in the US and Japan.
