« back to classes page

In this hands-on workshop, discover the ancient art of wet felting-- a 9000-year-old process that transforms wool into beautiful creations using soap, water and friction. You'll start with the basics and progress to contemporary techniques while making four unique finished pieces that can be decorative or functional. Wet felting is entirely beginner-friendly and requires no prior art experience. Each participant receives a kit containing all necessary tools, wool and supplies. The supply kit fee of $25 is payable to the instructor.

Tina Maloch is a dedicated art educator with a passion for fiber arts. With 29+ years of experience, she is a certified K-12 visual arts teacher and holds a master's degree in arts education.
